There are many ways to support Olive Branch Outreach Society and make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve in Stony Plain, Parkland County, Lac Ste Anne County and surrounding areas. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can have a significant impact.

Volunteer Your Time

Your time is a valuable resource. Consider volunteering with Olive Branch Outreach Society to directly impact the lives of our clients and strengthen our community.

  • Help Clients: Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in need.
  • Become a Board Member: Contribute to the strategic direction and governance of our organization.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with essential paperwork, including grant writing, to secure funding for our programs.
  • Event Support: Help organize and run our upcoming events, raising awareness and funds.

Donate Items

Donating items is a tangible way to support our programs and directly benefit those we serve.

  • Program Donations: Provide essential items to support our various programs. Contact us to learn about our current needs.  Or check out our Donation tab here in our website.
  • Bottle Donations: Donate your empty bottles at the bottle depot in Stony Plain under the Olive Branch Outreach Society name.

Highway Clean up

We are always looking for able people to help us make our community better.  If you are able to walk longer distances on uneven ground we want you.

One Saturday in May each year we walk a stretch of local highway for Alberta Transportation to help clean up the ditches.  It is a big fundraiser for our group and would love to meet you.

We will provide gloves, reflective vests, garbage bags, snacks and water for all of our volunteers.  Olive Branch provides Hot dogs and Hamburgers for lunch.  We all pitch in for the other good parts of lunch.

Bring your lawn chair, your walking shoes and your community spirit to help two great causes.  The clean up of the environment and us to raise money to help our community.

It looks great on a resume for people building your resume.  Volunteering is essential to a strong community.

Bottle Drive Volunteers

Whether you can walk, drive or sit we want you.

April 25 9-4 or any portion

Olive Branch needs the following positions

Drivers- to drive around an area in Stony Plain to collect bottles from the community

Spokes persons- go with drivers to talk to community members to collect bottles

Sorters- for bottles or fundrive items (small household donations)
